DESCRIPTION:
Miniature: Gouache portrait of a young woman with blue bows, painted on ivory, round gold pendant accented with a pearl border and rose cut diamond and seed pearl bail, reverse border accented with pearls with the center having a royal blue guilloche enamel and a rose cut diamond monogram, measures 59mm x 82mm including bail, signed (see photo). From the collection of former US ambassadors to France and Belgium.
CONDITION:
Portrait in excellent condition overall, one small seed pearl is missing from the top of the bail, frame with light discoloration to gold.
